Current projects

Music4Children has worked to raise money to acquire land and build an orphanage in Dhulikhel, east of Kathmandu. The orphanage is now in the final stages of construction and situated next to a school, providing easy access to an education for the children who will call it home.

Music4childen has joined forces with Help Nepal, www.helpnepal.net, a global Nepalese volunteer organisation with a dedicated ground team in Nepal. This association ensures all donated funds are applied directly to the project and works are completed to the highest possible standard.

We now need your help with donations to complete the interior of the orphanage and raise enough funds to support the community programmes for the next two years. These include long-term educational, vocational and sustainability programmes that will help ensure an end to the cycle of homelessness and provide the children with vital life and work skills. The orphanage will eventually be self-sustaining and community-run, using renewable energy and locally-sourced materials.
